There are literally hundreds of scholarships and grants for students of all skill levels pursuing continuing education or degrees in education for any or all fields of study. The following top 10 teaching scholarships and grants, however, are considered to be some of the best:

1.American Montessori Society Scholarships: These 16 scholarships are offered to teacher education students each year to eligible candidates that were accepted by AMS education programs.

2.Applegate/Jackson/Parks Future Teacher Scholarship: Numerous $1,000 scholarships are handed out to undergraduate and graduate students majoring in education by the National Institute for Labor Relations Research.

3.The Coca-Cola Foundation: Coca-Cola’s First Generation Scholarships are awarded to aspiring teachers who are the first in their immediate family to go to college.

4.The Delta Gamma Foundation Florence Margaret Harvey Memorial Scholarship: The American Foundation for the Blind offers this scholarship to students who plan on teaching blind or visually impaired children.
