Iran, Less Tyrannical Than New Hampshire
Aug 29, 2009
I have this problem. I like to express my opinions in commentaries such as the one you are reading now. I have been doing so for a little over three years now and have yet to make a penny from it. I have noticed that some people seem to appreciate my opinion more than others. I do my best to remain polite and respectful to all, even those who may not completely agree with the points I am trying to make. Up to this point I have had no agenda,

Aug 28, 2009
Whether firearms should be prohibited or not is still a question as most people has taken this for self defense. But the fact that most homicide deaths are brought about by guns should not be pushed aside. This is but one issue that should be dealt with once and for all.
Racial & Gender Reality in American Politics
Aug 28, 2009
In recent years we have been fed the idea that political correctness is finally a way of life in America. Television, Hollywood, Internet and print media are all presenting this idea as fact. Ethnic entertainment stars and politicians are trotted out as examples of just how politically correct America has become. But, is the picture a true one Will it apply this election year
ISA – Obama, the Democrats & the Mass Media Betray US Again
Aug 27, 2009
In the year 2006, well before the new century was more than a decade old, the American people decided they´d had enough of the Republicans´ shenanigans. Specifically, they´d had enough of George W. Bush and his administration lying us into war, violating the constitution and doing its best to shred that fine document, the legacy of our founding fathers. Before the November election, there seemed to be an electricity in the air. People were fed up then and were ready to elect new faces, new id
Now is Not the Time to Hit the Snooze Button!
Aug 27, 2009
I don't like to wake up in the morning. I wake up as a progression, hitting the snooze button after the alarm goes off, rolling over and going back to sleep for a few more minutes. I do this a couple of times. It's psychological, I suppose. It gets me ready for the day. Problem is, every once in a while I hit the snooze button one too many times and end up rushing through or skipping some of my morning routine so I won't be late for work. There are times when hitting the snooze button is appropr

Less than a month ago, the Arizona Senate made amendments to photo radar legislation. Most of the additions served as new guidelines in operating photo enforcement equipment, but one may forever change the way Arizona courts convict speeders. Senate amendment to S.B. 1291 reads:
2009 Marijuana Project Summary
Jul 16, 2009
There has an ample amount of controversy over the last few months about the legalization of marijuana. As bills, commercials, and publicity seem to sky rocket, the political view on marijuana are still skewed. We have politicians vetoing bills because of faulty evidence from the 1970’s and other politicians being misled by alcohol and tobacco companies. Who can they trust for the cold hard facts?

Anonymous phone calls and how to deal with them
Apr 11, 2009
Even a recluse now gets anonymous phone calls. Jocosely put, this situation was actually created because of the mistake of the recluse. Why in God’s name a recluse would need a phone in the key place? But few hermits are really what they maintain they are and that may unfold the situation to a scrupulous extent.
Photo Radar Controversy - Whats the Deal?
Mar 4, 2009
Every time I approach a speed camera I am greeted with a flurry of brake lights. To me I can’t see how this makes roads safer, if anything I contend that photo radar is not just an inconvenience, but a safety hazard for the citizens our legislature is there to protect.

Hitler and Franco
Feb 11, 2009
The issue of the relationship between Spain's General Franco and Hitler has been a controversial one for many years. The "conservative" view is that Franco's dealings with the German dictator were pragmatic, based on what was best for Spain, and that he skilfully kept Spain neutral during the Second World War. The "left" view is that Franco was far closer to Hitler, admired him greatly, and would have come into the war on Hitler's side had the terms been right.
The Skeleton in W's Closet
Dec 29, 2008
Do you know the story behind the Kennedy Assassination, behind Watergate, behind George W. Bush’s quick ascension to the most powerful office in the world? I thought I did. It was pretty simple, really. Oswald killed Kennedy, Nixon was an ogre, and W triumphed through a combination of ruthless political tactics, the weakness of his opponent, timing, and dumb luck.
Watergate and the Future: News for 2009
Dec 22, 2008
One of the fastest ways to raise eyebrows in politically savvy company is to suggest that Richard Nixon was not the villain of Watergate. Everyone knows that Nixon himself set loose the Watergate burglars and then oversaw the attempted cover-up that followed. We know this because the most famous journalists of the last fifty years -- Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein -- made their careers on that story. I thought I knew it too.
